About/Credits Many people have contributed to the Dawn's Highway project. Stay tuned for more information about who is involved and contributed. Producer: Brad Durham Bio Born in McMinnville, Tennessee, Brad Durham grew up in a radio family. His fascination with the music industry began in the first grade, when he would spin records and run the studio control board during live remote broadcasts from the town square. Durham's father, who was the station's owner, would take naps, and allow young Durham to go "solo" during these remotes. This was the pinnacle of Brad Durham's broadcasting career. While in college, Brad Durham promoted a few concerts at the Exit/In in Nashville and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University. It was during his senior year that he purchased "An American Prayer," and listened to the album straight through on the first day of its release. In 2006, Durham decided to study Jim Morrison as a serious hobby. This passion led him to make a trip to the state's archives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Durham researched and identified an accident that clearly matches Jim Morrison's story about encountering an accident at dawn in the New Mexico desert. |
